October Notes from the House: Aruba, Spooky Season & More
Okay. How is it already the end of October?! We are officially deep in spooky season, and this past month has been a total whirlwind. I got home from traveling and then unfortunately the flu decided to find me. It had me down and out this week, hence why I’ve been a little quiet. But I’m happy to say I’m feeling so much better! My voice is still on its way back, but otherwise I’m good to go. And honestly, I have missed you guys so much, so let me catch you up!
Aruba with my favorite people First up, Aruba! This was an incredible trip to the beachside desrt (excuse me I had no idea it was so cool)! of course I brought my bestie, mama, along, which made it extra special. It was so great getting to spend time with my teamies, Rachel (with her mama Judy) and Sarah (and her husband James). It's always special getting that time together. I also met many new friends and got to catch up with some old friends too. Being surrounded by people who get this crazy, wonderful business is just the best feeling. And I know I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy this trip without all of you! The way you show up and cheer me on truly just moves me. So very grateful. This one was for us!
A little Harry joy 💚I also got to see Harry Styles with my mom and Chey, and we hit the pop-up too. If you know me, you know I love my music, and getting to share that with my family is something I’ll never take for granted. We sang, we danced, and I’m still smiling about it. And yes, you know that man looked at me and I about lost it. I did indeed drop my phone but mama caught the moment for me!
A little (early) Christmas magic If you didnt know, my mama is a huge fan a John Derian. On our way to the Harry popup we passed his NY store and he was there setting up for christmas. He was such a gem! and when i saw my mama's eyes light up it wamred my heart more than I can say! Pure magic (but now I’m itching to swap out my spooky decor for Christmas...)!
Pup report 🐾All the dogs are doing great! The puppies just got freshly groomed and they are feeling themselves, prancing around like they own the place. And the big girl have been loving this gorgeous fall weather and playing outside every chance they get. They also don't mind that i finally added a couch to the studio. Make yourselves at home girls!
